Be Meaningful

  • Identify programs that are new or useful to a wider audience
  • Consider who you are reaching, and what action you wish them to take

Write Clearly

  • Use simple, family-friendly language
  • Speak directly to your audience (families, community, etc.)

Keep It Short

  • 300–500 words max

Proofread

  • Invite at least two other colleagues to proofread
  • Check for spelling, grammar, and tone

Share It Broadly!

  • Send to your school comms team & local media
  • Post on your district’s website
  • Share via newsletter & social media
