It all started when we partnered with the USDA to create the first nut-free spread for schools. We’ve continued to spread deliciousness and inspire wholesome, inclusive menus of all kinds ever since.

To make SunButter®, we start with the finest sunflower kernels under the sun. We source ours both domestically and globally from carefully vetted growers and suppliers that are fully peanut- and tree nut-free. It is our mission to mitigate even the slightest risk of allergen cross-contamination, from sourcing to processing and packing. No nuts allowed here.

Nut-Free Facility

Every pound of SunButter® is produced in our entirely nut-free facility in Fargo, North Dakota. We don’t allow any peanuts or nuts to get through the door, ever. We understand that allergy safety is serious business.
